Kristi Williams
Founder of Black History Saturday and advocate for Black culture in Tulsa. Named National Geographic Explorer and Wayfinder Award recipient in 2024, receiving a $50,000 grant. Created Black History Saturdays in 2023, a monthly educational program. Established a banned book library. Former chairperson of the Greater Tulsa African American Affairs Commission and "Community Activist of The Year" award recipient.

Vanessa Hall-Harper
(Founding Board Member)
Founding Board Member and Tulsa City Councilor. Graduate of Tulsa Public Schools with a Master's in Science Management and Bachelor's in Political Science. Extensive career in social service, including roles at Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau and Tulsa Health Department.

Dr. Darnell Blackmon
(Vice Chair)
Accomplished orthopedist surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine, foot and ankle conditions. Graduate of Meharry Medical College with military service in the US Air Force Reserves. Active in Tulsa's medical community.

Marvin DeJear
Senior VP of talent development at Greater Des Moines Partnership. Former director of Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families. Graduate of Iowa State University with experience in construction management and teaching.
